Have fun!
There was a site linked somewhere, and it even has it's own page on how to use it, but for the life of me I can't remember how to get there. Where was it?
I found the layout in the Japanese forum a lot nicer, especially the phase 1-5 does not need expanding the list. Could we adopt something like that?
tips to speed increase the gold and experience?
Hi,
I have been updating all the building pages with the content from the spreadsheets as listed on my User page
As there is a lot of information and the work is repetitive, I decide to write a VBA script in Excel to convert all the buiding data into wikia code so I can update the page more quickly. As I have in mind to rework the way the information is displayed, I would like to avoid to regenerate the page content and instead kill two birds with one stone through my script. I would like your opinions regarding this.
Currently almost all of the building pages display information as this:
Building Level | Unlock |
Unlock | Upgrade Cost |
---|---|---|---|
New Resource: Iron | 75 / h | 0 | |
Increase Hourly Rate: Iron | 80 / h | 200 | |
Increase Hourly Rate: Iron | 85 / h | 1.5 K | |
Increase Hourly Rate: Iron | 90 / h | 3.5 K | |
Increase Hourly Rate: Iron | 95 / h | 5 K |
There is one page that looks different http://shop-heroes.wikia.com/wiki/Garden and I would like to do something similar:
Level | Cost | Unlocks | Boost | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Cost | |||||
0 | Herbs 75/h | +30/h | +4 | 4 | |
200 | 80/h | +30/h | +4 | 26 | |
1,300 | 85/h | +35/h | +4 | 70 | |
3,500 | 90/h | +35/h | +5 | 100 | |
5,000 | 95/h | +40/h | +5 | 300 |
For character unlocks, it would look like this:
Level | Cost | Unlocks | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
0 | 3+ | - | - | |
2.5 K | 4+ | - | - | |
2.5 K | 5+ | - | - | |
2.5 K | - | 3+ | - | |
2.5 K | 7+ | - | - | |
5 K | - | 6+ | - | |
5 K | 9+ | - | - |
Way more optimistic and less heavy loading.
Thoughs?
I noticed that after defeating a boss the level (phase) increases (Ex: City Sewers IV) Also with each phase completed the more quests you have to accomplish before fighting the Boss again. What exactly does each phase accomplish? Does the Boss get stronger at the end of each phase? Better quality items and gear? The game doesn't really explain this can someone help me understand?
Try as I might I cannot seem to find a list of the costs for trade slot upgrades, perhaps I'm using a bad search string. I'm looking for the prices of upgrading already owned slots, not adding new ones.
Thanks in advance for any direction toward finding this :)

Whose idea was it to put all the item progression info into collapsed tables? I'm a veteran of a few wikis, and the eventual consensus on all of them was that collapsed tables should be used rarely, and only when a page has a large set of data that is significantly less important than the rest of the page. Otherwise they're just an annoyance to readers who have to click the little [+] in order to see the data they're interested in.
I'm sure that for veteran players, who probably have every recipe mastered, the progression data is pretty unimportant. But for a new player like me, it's the main reason I'm looking through item pages in the first place, so the collapsed tables are very annoying - especially since there are five of them on every page!
Hi all,
I would like to complete some stub pages but first I need to know what is the rule for the pictures.
On what did you agree for the picture quality, format, size? What's the naming rule? Whatever information that could help me.
Thanks in advance
I am currently unable to work on the Wiki properly as I am not at home and the laptop I have with me is too darn slow.
I will resume editing on the 13/14th of March 2016.
I will then be absent again from the 26th of March to the 11th of April
Thank you for your understanding
Hi there,
I think we need an internal trade for each town to permit player to help more easly the citizen.
We need a private chat, you just need to add another button for this when we clic on player name on chat, and maybe an ignor button too.
It will be nice if you permit player to give a gift from your store to another player of their choice, like if i want to buy a pack for a friend as a gift
Maybe put stack of ressource item on spin insteed of only 1 and put better probability to get better stuff? Remove quest item from higher chest and let only plan and item? The price for the chest to be open is very expensive so we dont want to get quest item from them.
Remove the taxe at the auction house from gem item, and let only from gold item.
I hope you will check this post and maybe add some suggestion for your next patch :)
I like your game and i think this suggestion will be make more player happy and come for your game :)
New to the game and need advice on what type of workers to focus on getting and whether or not to put their points into just skills or mastery or both. Also, I heard some people talking about focusing on just one type of item instead of them all, is there an advantage to this?
Thanks!
For those that don't like the Visual-Editor (yukk), im one of them, i made a GM-Userscript to load wikEd a popular wiki editor used on wikipedia.
Wikia censoring goofs however have blocked the possibility to import that script on the wiki, that's why i made this userscript to inject it on the wiki.
It's very lightweight and does nothing more as just inject the wikEd script from wikipedia.
You can view the source and install it from this page.
I was thinking if it would be a good move to ask wikia-staff to install Extension:Semantic MediaWiki with Semantic Bundle on this wiki?
See the Semantic MediaWiki homepage what this can do.
I have arranged in MediaWiki:Common.css to have wiki-wide font types to be controlled in MediaWiki:Webfonts.css+MediaWiki:Wiki_Typeset.css.
If anyone wants to have different typefaces used ask any admin to modify these pages.
It uses the dynamic fonts that are inported from MediaWiki:Common.css, which might be changed to be imported from MediaWiki:Common.js instead if demanded by wikia... (Who knows)
